Marketing Week and Econsultancy team up for new Video Masterclass event for marketers
With online video becoming an integral tool for consumers and marketers alike, Marketing Week and Econsultancy have teamed up for a new one day Video Masterclass featuring speakers from brands such as Reebok, Wooshii and ITN as well as agencies such as Seven and Experian.
Whether it’s Cisco’s prediction that 69% of all consumer internet traffic will be video-based by 2017 or Facebook talking up the growing opportunities for SMEs to utilise online video ads, the need for video is obvious, but adapting to the new demands it creates can be challenging.
To address these demands, the upcoming Video Masterclass event will feature tips and strategies from some of UK marketing’s video pioneers.
Among the speakers will be Mark Brayton, director of interactive marketing at Barclays, who will discuss video’s position within the marketing mix and how marketers can successfully integrate it into existing structures.
Hazel Kay, head of marketing at Selfridges, will also be on hand to speak about her retail experience using video to boost in-store offerings, and to discuss how retailers can use video to bridge the gap between digital and physical retail.
Furthermore, Abigail Blackburn, head of content at TUI UK, will offer tips on the right questions marketers should be asking when outsourcing or turning in-house for video content.
