Building a marketing career in tech startups is not for the fainthearted. Typified as a cutthroat and fast-moving world, marketers are under pressure to drive results and revenue.
But for Natasha Briefel, nurturing a career in this space was a natural choice. Her career so far has seen her help launch Tinder in the UK and lead brand marketing at Bumble before joining speedy grocery delivery startup Zapp as global brand marketing director between 2022 and 2023.
Briefel is currently the CMO at Beams, a digital home renovation platform that launched in 2023. She is yet again in the startup brand driving seat, but it’s a change from her previous roles in the dating and delivery spaces – Beams is focused on making home renovation more sustainable.
